 Hi lovelies ! Ive figured out majority of my horror movies title placement. A big struggle I had was incorporating a digital text into the setting. It is not something we could write out or physically have there. I placed it mostly on black objects or desolate places on the screen as planned. Yet movement with the words was a big issue for me. It felt like it kept getting awkward looking. It was also a lot of titles. I felt like if I played with the size even a little it ruined my film. If I made it too big it completely distracted from the setting. If I made it too small it would completely be ignored. I also had to play with the deepness of the red I was using. I absolutely hated the bright obnoxious red look. Yet If I made the red too dark it blended in completely with the setting. This was extremely annoying to work with. I ended up with a nice cherry red that was muted. It was good enough to not be an eyesore, or blend into the setting. A big issue I had was the lighting. We ...

 Hi lovelies! Unsurprisingly we are way over time by 6 minutes. The clips with our main character putting on makeup are way too long but I do not wish to have jump cuts. Jump-cuts add more of a slice of life movie feel and thats not what we want. I have to have variety in the scenes so i'm going to pick the ones most like our storyboard. I am going to keep the clip of her putting on lipstick. The entire makeup scene could last two minutes. We are extremely crunched as this needs to be a minute and thirty seconds. For the scenes with Davi and the other girl i am going to cut those extremely short. I may possibly cut it out all together. I think we would still have the same feel. If I leave in our main character getting more attention and flirting it would not change the feeling at all. I think i am going to cut the car scenes down by a lot too. I will just show Vidar driving or walking to the car. I just want to make sure we get the man eater and vampire vibe we are going for. Its o...

 Hi lovelies!! Today my partner and I were finally able to film with our love interest. Our friend Davi was finally free today and able to film. He is playing the love interest as it is really easy to have chemistry with him as he is my friend. We filmed at his workplace early in the morning. He works at a ice cream shop and was able to give us the opportunity to film there. This is the place Vidar meets her love interest. We filmed in the morning as there would be less people making it a more comfortable area to film. After multiple shots we had said by to Davi for a few hours. Our next few shots had to once again be taken at a certain time. So we waited for that time to come and went over to our next location and got set up and we have more intense shots to film here. We already know what angles to film at and how to get the lighting just right due to Vidars solo shooting days.  Hi lovelies! So recently my partner and I have started our filming process. Off the bat we started with setting and overall prep. We fixed up lighting and darker vibes all around. Putting up props we have been working on for the storyline, for example pictures of Vidar with past victims which just happen to be our close male friends from school and setting a old time vibe through my room where we will be shooting Vidars solo shots in. When we started filming it was after prepping the camera with filters to fit the mood we were trying to get. We started with more establishing shots of her room and surroundings to get a sense of her aura because it plays a major part of the film. Then we showed her prepping and doing her makeup. This was a mirror shot so we see her through the mirror which took a fair share of playing around with the camera angles for but it was achievable. Growing up i've always had an interest in different instrumentals and beats. I've learned from this to find a non copyright rabbit hole. I will be using a non profit instrumental inspired by the band "Nine Inch Nails" instead. It allows us to use the song for as long as we are not monetizing our content. Also for our movie we need multiple pictures of men with one of our actors. This was a very fun experience as we are able to include various of our friends in the project without having to add them. It will be a weird process but our main character is a man eater. We put in all of our scripts and story's that she has a wall of all of her past victims. Hi lovelies! Figuring out the availability of everyone we intend to utilize has became an issue. We had planned a day prior, yet family issues came up and we have been struggling to reschedule We tried to do it last Sunday yet someone had to work at 2:30. That would be perfectly fine if we the person giving the rides didn't work at 12:30 that day. The schedule planning is hectic and stressful. We are trying to make sure the ice cream shop is available for us to film in. I also want to make sure we are not filming anyone without permission. Yet the person who works at the ice cream shop works very random days. This is one of the more inconvenient facts but i'm sure we can work around it. One of our actors is going on a trip yet allowed us to film the day before they go since its most ideal for everyone. We are deciding to segment it on this day into different times. Hey lovelies! Today I am going to be picking the music in preparation for my film. Right off the bat I know I want the music to be apart of the Nu metal/metal or indie genre. I looked through my music to find some songs that may match the vibe i'm going for. Im inclined to use the instrumentals mainly. The first song on my list is "Spiders" by system of a down. I really like the eerie parts between the climax of the drums, it would match the build up of our movie. It also sounds a bit like the "saw" soundtrack which I find very neat. This inclines me to use it more because it reminds me of a horror movie. The next song im considering is "Kimdracula" by Deftones. I like the guitar a lot in the back and I even think the singers voice would fit our film since its more breathy. The song is called "Kimdracula" which also hints that its a vampire themed movie.  Hey lovelies!! Today I will be updating you guys about the outfits worn by the main characters and the clothing design and process for each character. Vidar and the main love interest have styles that defiantly match their personalities. Vidar being a strong independent woman, her style is rather fierce. Each character has a specific color palette. For Vidar her colors consists of dark red, black, nudes, dark blue, and just darker shades. Her signature color is defiantly a maroon type of red. This is made to symbolize her blood seeking thirst for revenge towards the men in the story. Her clothes also consists of a lot of sheer fabric and lace, this gives a more vampy seductive vibe to her already apparent maneater demeanor.
