Storyboard

 






  1.      Fade in from black showing a wall of photographs.
        2.      The camera pans showing a wall of photos, all from different dates.
        3.      Vidar (our main character) is shown applying makeup and lipstick, getting ready.
        4.      As she applies makeup we see she is as young as her pictures look.
        5.      She takes out a picture and looks at it ominously.
        6.      She gets ready in dark but feminine clothing.
        7.      As she walks out the door she slips the picture into her pocket.
        8.      She walks out to her car getting ready to go out.
        9.      She drives.
        10.     The camera gives a close up of her eyes moving ominously.
        11.     She arrives at a parking lot.
        12.     She gets out and starts walking down a sidewalk.
        13.     She stops in-front of an ice cream shop with a big window.
        14.     Peaking through the window we see the guy from the photo talking to a woman.
        15.     The guy and the girl seem to be flirting but he’s creepy.
        16.     the main character walks into the ice cream shop.
        17.      The guy waves off the other woman to talk to Vidar.
        18.     They start flirting together.
        19.     Vidar and the man are talking and he invites her out to his house.
        20.     Vidar says no to his invite but invites him to a park instead.
        21.     Vidar says goodbye to the man, telling him she will meet him there after his shift.
        22.     A establishing shot is taken of the park.
        23.     The guy arrives and they start talking.
        24.     The guy leans in for a kiss and Vidar seems to aswell.
        25.     Vidar instead bites the man leading him to say “Ow, what was that?”
        26.     Vidar goes to bite the man again, completely depriving him of blood, killing him.
        27.     Vidar drags the man’s lifeless body out of frame.
        28.     Vidar is approached by a feminine silhouette.
        29.     Vidar is given a note from the strange silhouette.
        30.     The note shows a picture of a guy with info attached, her next victim.

Movie Conventions- Saw X

  Hey lovelies!  I will be doing a research analysis on "Saw X". This is the last movie of the saw series which is known for its horrific special effects that leaves the viewer feeling squeamish. Starting off, the lighting in multiple parts of this movie is dim and tinted yellow or blue. The tinted lighting gives a rustic edgy feeling to the horror movies leaving a eerie visual for the watcher. The movie uses action matching to show the mastermind behind the movie planning his machines on a blank sheet of paper with a pencil. Action matching helps to highlight important scenes in the movie. In this scene we are seeing how John Kramer plans his machines. Throughout the movie we get to see different unique props and puzzles used, most of them being metal and rustic looking, These puzzles connect to the special effects in the movie and go hand in hand with the gore, horror aspect. Updates and Tweaks

 Hi lovies! I'm back once again with mini tweak, updates, and preferences. I have continued to experiment. I had heard different people mention things about their editing process, many have tried different platforms, changes their music or even added unique elements to really emphasize their peace. I honestly want to do the same. I want my commercial to stand out but that's as hard as it is easy. My reason for saying that is because it is easy to fall into the same category as everyone else with good pieces but I want to show out with something that screams "Habiba" without it falling into the same wavelength as other people. In simple terms I want it to be unique. I have already made some cute points and things that I think make my piece stand out but I also decided to experiment. How? Well I looked more into iMovie. I wanted to see what it offers. It was not for me as the editing became more complicating but it was interesting to see what it could do to my piece. It...

Fun Times with Filming!!

 Hi lovelies! So as you all know I already started filming. I finished all my scenes with my friend who plays my love interest as he goes to a different school, we tried to get all our shots in on one day. Now all I had left where my solo shots. These were called the "bedroom shots" by my and I. These shots took place in my room as it was the most convenient with our time. My room also has a very girly teen symbolic statements, with pink posters of boy bands and cartoon and minor accessories. My partners room is also good for this but we were unable to make that plan happen. The filming took a day or too since these scenes where complicated and had a gap in between the library filming day and the day of those shots but they had to match the cuts. The acting also had to be more precise as it was more symbolic in terms of the genre, artist, and storyline. There was a lot of emotions to convey and I think i was able to capture that.
